Greatest Gaming Moment We've Ever Seen!!

This goes down as one of the biggest and best comebacks ever seen in the world of gaming and its certainly one of, if not, thee best gaming moment ever we at The Game Domain has ever seen.

I saw this video first a couple of years ago and was reminded of it earlier today and thought "I have to write about it and share it".

For those who dont know, it is from a gaming tournament called Evolution 2004 (or Evo 04) where semi-finalists Daigo Umehara from Japan and Justin Wong from the USA battled for their place in the final. Their game was Street Fighter 3: Third Strike, Daigo's fighter of choice was Ken Masters and Justin's was Chun-Li.

In the video, we see Daigo on the back foot in the final round and Justin's onslaught of attacks led to an excitable yet nicely orchestrated but slightly cocky execution of Chun-Li's Leg Flurry super combo which was sure to seal the deal as Daigo's Ken was one hit away from defeat. I can just imagine the tension in the room as displayed in the bottom left hand corner as Daigo's hope for supremacy was lost. Then out of nowhere, Daigo digs deep and as if by magic, manages to use Ken's parry to block every single attack in Chun-Li's combo including her last hit which is a high kick then whips up a combo of his own which finishes with Ken's Super Combo being a flurry of his own beating Justin by a smidgin. The crowd erupts and the entire moment will be remembered forever as the biggest comeback ever (to us anyway).
