Evolve Open Beta Coming To Xbox One, 'Smaller Limited Test' On PS4 & PC
Evolve developers have announced an open beta will run for upcoming FPS Evolve on January 15th and it will run up until January 19th on Xbox One.
The beta will give players the chance to try out the game's 'Hunt' mode for the duration of the test, letting you get to grips with the first two monsters and eight hunters.
An open beta will not be available on PS4 or PC. Instead, a "smaller closed technical test" will be carried out allowing a limited number of PS4 and PC players to try out the game. So it seems PS4 and PC players are getting the shorter straw here.
From January 16, PC players who were invited to the Big Alpha test or own Left 4 Dead or BioShock Infinite on Steam will be able to take part in the PC test. Then, on January 17, PS4 players who were invited to the Big Alpha test will be able to give it a go on Sony's console.
The PC and PS4 tests will not include Evacuation or let players transfer unlocked monsters and hunters over to the full game.
