Telltale Games Announce New Minecraft Game
Creators of the fantastic episodic games The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us and Game of Thrones have announced they are working on a new episodic game series in collaboration with Minecraft creators, Mojang.
Titled Minecraft: Story Mode, we at The Game Domain expect this to work similar to the other games Telltale have made with the inclusion of moral choices and heavy point and click gameplay. This is just our fortelling though so dont quote us!
The standalone game is set to be available on Xbox, PlayStation, PC, Mac, iOS and Android, and will "mix new characters with familiar themes, in an entirely original Minecraft experience". The game is being developed in collaboration with members of the Minecraft community to make it "as Minecrafty as possible".
Mojang says the first episode will be released "some time in 2015".
"We're not intending on creating an 'official' story for Steve, or explaining the world of Minecraft in detail," commented Mojang. "It will be a cool game."
