Reflections, a Ubisoft studio, released the first Developer Diary exploring the inspirations behind the evolution of Grow Home.
Grow Home is the quirky and new experiential climbing game where players are free to explore a beautiful open world full of floating islands, majestic caves and waterfalls. Players take on the role of BUD (Botanical Utility Droid), an excitable, child-like robot sent on a mission to search the galaxy for plant life that can oxygenate his home world.
In the video, players meet the team behind Grow Home, learn about the challenges and rewards of creating this experimental game and understand the passion and detail that went into the game’s design and artistic style.
