Highly anticipated farming and life simulator; Wild Season, is now available on Steam Early Access.

Marketing Manager Imre Schouten added to the news: “It’s really great that the game is soon available in ‘the wild’. SOEDESCO has been talking about this game for quite some time now and this will be the first time that gamers can get their hands on the game. We’re anxious to know what everyone thinks of the game”

About Wild Season Early Access build

This build of Wild Season contains the first Spring season of the game. Because story is very important for Wild Season, it’s imperative that not too much of the plot is spoiled before release. The included story content should give players an indication of what to expect and will leave them hungry for more! Early Access customers will gain access to additional story content as its rolled out for final testing to the Early Access fans.

Because transparency is one of the most important things when doing early access, below is a list of features that are not yet included because Quickfire Games felt that these features needed extra polishing.

Sharan Balani from Quickfire Games was excited about the announcement: “We’ve been working on this for a long time! Almost two years since we started, and a year and a half since we launched the Kickstarter. We’ve poured all our passion and energy into Wild Season and are as excited as our fans to let them play it! We just want to make sure it’s the best it can be!”

Gameplay features to be included in full release

  • Advanced animal breeding (early access only contains basic breeding limited to livestock)

  • Beer & Wine Making

  • Interesting romances with NPCs(romances are tied into the story)

  • Real Time Cooking

  • Buff/Debuff system affected by actions

  • Unique approach to NPC relationships

  • Fantastic/Epic Soundtrack

  • 85 different crops you can grow

In addition to that here are some other features that gamers can look forward to when the full game ships later this year:

  • Full mouse support

  • Improved tutorials

  • Male and female character options

  • Character Customization

Wild Season will launch later this year for PC with a console release following after that.
