SOEDESCO acquires Adam’s Venture intellectual property for €600.000
Dutch videogame publisher, SOEDESCO, has acquired the full IP rights to the Adam’s Venture franchise. SOEDESCO bought the IP rights for €600.000 from Vertigo Games, known for working on SteamVR project Skyworld and World of Diving. Vertigo Games will remain involved with developing games for the franchise.
Hans van Brakel, executive manager at SOEDESCO shared the following about the acquisition: “This is probably the biggest acquisition of a Dutch videogame IP, which makes it extra special for us. This is our first IP acquisition so hopefully this says something about our ambitions.” He also added “At this moment we can’t share our full plans for the franchise but rest assured that we have some big plans, which we will announce at E3 2015 in Los Angeles”
Richard Stitselaar, Managing Director at Vertigo Games, said about the deal: ”After having worked on and successfully released multiple Adam’s Venture titles for a wide audience to enjoy on PC and console since 2008, we are thrilled to take this exciting next step with SOEDESCO that will undoubtedly bring the IP great opportunities in a future that we look forward to stay involved in.”
