Dark Souls III wins "Best RPG" award at Gamescom 2015
DARK SOULS III from BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment and FROM SOFTWARE has won the award for “Best Role Playing Game” at gamescom 2015. Examined and evaluated by an independent international jury of experts, DARK SOULS III was able to win out against four other competitors in the category “Best Role Playing Game". The challenging gameplay, unique art design and dark melancholic setting of the game convinced gamers, media and critics alike. "It’s a huge honour for us to win this very well respected award, especially against such fierce competition. During gamescom 2015, visitors and consumers had the chance to play the game for the first time and fight to survive in the beautifully dark world of DARK SOULS III. The gamescom award, organized by Digital Gaming Culture Foundation, honours the best games and products premiering at the consumer expo. DARK SOULS III will be released in early 2016 for Xbox One, PlayStation®4 and PC.
